About Us

Fundamentally First Aid (FFA) or 'Fun First Aid' as we like to call it was a collaboration between experienced and qualified first aid instructors/assessors and a Director of Security & Compliance for a Surrey based company.

The instructors and Director both believed that first aid training could be made more fun, interactive and engaging.  By going to the next level of training delivery the student would be more engaged, interested in being more involved and retain for longer their new found skills that could save a life. This simple concept of making first aid fun was born.

Based on Weybridge High Street in Surrey, we deliver first aid training exclusively to businesses and organisations at their own premises or a suitable venue of their choice. This on-site model helps reduce training costs and minimises disruption by keeping employees in their familiar work environment.

We have a variety of experienced and qualified instructors who are able to deliver a variety of courses such as Emergency First Aid At Work, AED training and risk assessment training.

Our risk assessment training is led by Gary Munday MSyI, a seasoned security professional and course author with experience in developing Vocational Technical Qualification-level training.

Gary is an elected Member of the Security Institute (MSyI) and brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his sessions.

He is a veteran Security Manager and former Principal of Alliance Mobile Security Ltd, a Surrey-based company providing reactive security services to both residential and commercial clients. After successfully passing on the business in 2022, Gary has focused on delivering high-quality training and offering short-term project support to pricate security companies.

Currently, Gary is advancing through the selection process to become an elected member of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC), further cementing his commitment to excellence and leadership in the security industry.

Fundamentally First Aid (FFA) is a first aid training provider which is a member of ProTrainings.uk and all first aid assessed courses meet the requirements of Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
